Toothache or Heartache?

I'd rather have heartache than toothache! No, seriously. I'm not making it up. Based on my personal experience, a heartache can heal in time, while toothache takes ages to recover lol. Plus, you won't get a hole in your heart or losing it just because you have a heartache. On the contrary, you might possibly end up with cavities or even tooth loss when it comes to toothache, which is irreplaceable in my opinion, even though you can get a near-perfect fake tooth nowadays! Besides, oral health and dental care are not just highly important to your appearance and sense of well-being, but also to your overall health.

Cavities and gum disease may contribute to many serious conditions, such as diabetes and respiratory diseases. Untreated cavities can also be painful and lead to serious infections. Periodontal or gum disease may include bleeding or swollen gum. It is an infectious condition that can result in the destruction of gum tissue and bone. If left untreated, the bacteria that cause gum disease may travel through the blood stream increasing the chance of heart disease, stroke, respiratory diseases and pregnancy complications. So very scary! Therefore, I don't mind going back and forth to my dentist and dealing with the boredom waiting turn for the next few months.
