A mentalist is not a psychic. Just paying attention, that's what he does. I have recommended this TV drama for my friends to watch, mainly because of the ridiculously charming Simon Baker lol. The series tells the story of a former con man, Patrick Jane, who is employed as an independent consultant for the California Bureau Investigation (CBI). Despite his personal interest to bring to justice a serial killer named Red John who also killed Jane's wife and daughter, he helps the CBI solve crimes with his ability. The Mentalist Season 4 will premiere September 22, 2011, on CBS.
